Breaking Dawn

This was the first sunset I've ever watched in my entire life, and it was as breathe-taking as I've always imagined it to be. Albeit, having to wake up in the wee hours of the morning during a jam-packed weekend retreat was very tiring. But the way it was all quiet at first, and then the sky was lit up, followed by the clouds slowly being painted, ending with the peaking sun itself, washed away all thoughts of scraping the plan and going back to bed. As the sun hangs high in the sky, it marked the start of the day.
Just like how sunrise dawns the day, I would like to use this post to kick off this blog. I have hosted another blog before, when I went to South Korea as an exchange student for 4 months. It was an amazing experience, and blogging it has made my adventures seem so much more real. It was also an excellent way of letting my friends and family know what I was up to from the other side of the world. However, from the layout of the actual blog, to the way I've written my content, I'd rather have that part of the past hidden, at least for now.
As people have said: pick up where you left off. Now that I've had experience, I'd love to learn from my mistakes and start over again. I love discovering places, listening to stories, taking pictures, and sharing my experiences. By opening this blog, I will be able to keep a record of all that.
